This Privacy Policy explains how Rodell Search, LLC collects, uses and discloses personal information that we obtain through our website. Rodell Search is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal data.

Rodell Search, LLC (“Roddell Search” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is an executive search firm that works across industries to recruit exceptional candidates to fill roles for Rodell’s clients. We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of our clients, potential candidates, and our online visitors.  It is our intent to balance our legitimate business interests in collecting and using information received from and about you with your reasonable expectations of privacy.  The following privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) is the way we handle information learned about you.  This Privacy Policy applies to your provision of personal information directly to us as one of our business clients or a potential candidate, and any collection of information online through a website that links to this Privacy Policy, including the following (collectively the “Site”):

2. Information Collection.

     A. Information You Provide.

We collect information about you when you use the Site or interact with us offline, including information you provide when you send us your resume, contract with us to receive our services, contact us, or apply for a job. The following categories are information we collect that you voluntarily provide to us:

• Contact Data, including first and last name, email address, postal address, and phone number.
• Demographic Data, including your age, racial/ethnic origin, gender, and country.
• Content, including content within any messages you send to us (such as feedback and questions to customer support) or publicly post on the Site (such as in product reviews or blog comments).
• Personal Contacts Data, including the first and last name, email address, and phone number of your personal contacts. We collect data about contacts you voluntarily provide to us in order to fulfill a request by you.
• Candidate Applicant Data, including employment history, past professional experience, resume, salary, education history, transcript, writing samples, and references.

      B. Information Collected Automatically.

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information. The following categories are information we collect automatically:

• Site Use Data, including data about your device and browser type, operating system, device identifier, Internet Protocol (IP) address or MAC address, Site features you use, pages you visit, emails you view, the time of day you browse, and your referring and exiting pages.

     C. Information on Behalf of Our Clients.

We provide a service for our clients and business partners and collect and process information about individuals within the organizations of clients and/or business partners as necessary to provide such service (“Client Data”). Client Data has historically included contact data, contact’s business title and position description, related project details and related project notes. Our processing of Client Data is governed by the terms of our service agreements with our customers and/or business partners. Where Client Data includes personal data, we will treat such personal data in accordance with the practices described in this Privacy Policy, plus any additional restrictions imposed by contract with our client and/or business partners. We are not responsible for how our clients and/or business partners treat the information we collect on their behalf, and we recommend you review their own privacy policies.

     D. Potential Candidate Data

If you are a potential candidate that has provided us personal data to share with our clients or clients of our business partners, we will retain such data in our applicant tracking system (a database of candidates and related employment information). We will use this data to identify potential candidates to our clients or clients of our business partners when we receive requests that a potential candidate may be qualified for and send the potential candidate’s resume information to the applicable client for consideration.

    E. Information from Other Sources.

We also collect information from other sources. The following are the categories of sources we collect information from:

• Users of our Services, including clients, business partners, and business partner clients that may provide the name and contact information of other employees of such clients to be used in connection with providing our services.
• Data brokers from which we purchase data to supplement the data we collect, including background check-related criminal convictions, credit information, driving record information, and employment verification data.
• Social networks when you engage with our content, reference our services, make information from a social network platform publicly available, or grant us permission to access private information from a social network platform, including LinkedIn.
• Business Partners that offer co-branded services or otherwise engage in joint activities related to our services.
• Publicly-available sources, including data in the public domain.

3. Use of Information.

We collect and use information for business and commercial purposes in accordance with the practices described in this Privacy Policy to:

• To provide, operate and manage our Site and services;
• Send qualified potential candidates to our clients;
• Perform services requested by you, such as responding to your comments, questions, and requests, and providing any related support services;
• Prevent and address fraud, breach of policies or terms, and threats or harm;
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities;
• Improve the Site, our marketing efforts, and our services;
• Develop and send you communications, including marketing communications about our services, and to measure how effective our marketing campaigns are;
• Fulfilling any other business or commercial purposes at your direction or with your notice and/or consent; and
• Comply with our legal obligations and exercise our legal rights.

We may use information that does not identify you (including information that has been aggregated or de-identified) for any lawful business purpose.

4. Sharing of Information.

We share information we collect in accordance with the practices described in this Privacy Policy. The types of entities with whom we disclose information include the following:

• Service Providers. We share information with entities that process information on our behalf for our business purposes. Service providers assist us with services such as performing background checks, data analytics, marketing and advertising, data hosting, and technical support.
• Clients. We share information with our clients (or, as applicable, our business partners’ clients) in connection with us processing information on their behalf. For example, we share information with such clients in order to send potential candidates’ resumes and associated information, to respond to your questions and comments, to comply with your requests, market and advertise to you, and to otherwise comply with applicable law.
• Business Partners. We share information with our business partners in connection with offering co-branded services or engaging in joint marketing or other business activities. For example, we may share information with international partners in connection with searches for business partner clients located outside of the U.S. and in connection with searches for international candidates for our U.S.-based clients.
• Changes of Control. We share information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any proposed or actual merger, purchase, sale, reorganization, liquidation, change in control, or any other type of acquisition or business combination of all or any portion of our assets, or transfer of all or a portion of our business to another business.
• Security and Compelled Disclosure. We may share information to comply with the law or other legal process and, where required, in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We may also share information to protect the rights, property, life, health, security, and safety of us, the Service or anyone else.
• We share information with notice to you and your consent.

5.Cookies and Other Collection Tools.

What are Cookies? We use cookies, log files and other tracking technologies to collect information automatically. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser. Cookies allow a web server to transfer data to a computer for recordkeeping and other purposes.  We and our third party service providers may use “cookies” in association with the Site for a variety of purposes, such as to facilitate your ongoing access to and use of the Services, as well as to conduct analytics on and collect usage information related to the Site, as described above.  We may use session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies make it easier for you to navigate our website and expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies help with personalizing your experience, remembering your preferences, determining whether our email marketing campaigns are effective, and supporting security features. Why do we use them? Cookies help us improve the Site by providing us with information about which parts of the Site is most popular, enabling us to analyze technical and navigational information about the Site, and helping us to detect and prevent fraud. We also use cookies and other data collection tools (such as web beacons and server logs) to help improve your experience with the Site, and we may use cookies and other tools to serve personalized ads. For example, we use Google Analytics to help analyze how users use the Site. These tools use cookies to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Site (including IP address) is transmitted to our data collection tool service providers. This information is then used by us to evaluate visitors’ use of the Site and to compile statistical reports on website activity for Rodell Search. How do I control cookies? Web browsers allow some control of most cookies through the browser settings. 6.Children.

We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from any person under the age of thirteen. The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at or designed to attract children under thirteen years of age.

7.Data Security.

We implement and maintain reasonable administrative, physical, and technical security safeguards designed to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. However, transmission via the internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of the information we hold about you.

8.Do Not Track.

The Site does not currently take any action when it receives a Do Not Track request. Do Not Track is a privacy preference that you can set in your web browser to indicate that you do not want certain information about your webpage visits collected across websites when you have not interacted with that service on the page. 9. Changes to this Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to revise and reissue this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting of the revised Privacy Policy.

   A. Your Data Subject Rights.

If you are a data subject in Europe, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal data we have collected about you. You also have the right to data portability and the right to restrict or object to our processing of the personal data we have collected about you. If the processing of your personal data is pursuant to your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time .

You may exercise your rights by submitting a written request to us at the address set out in the “Contact Us” section. We may request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and process your request. Applicable law may require or permit us to decline your request. If we decline your request, we will tell you why, subject to legal restrictions.

We retain information as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, and may continue to retain and use information even after a data subject request for purposes of our legitimate interests, including as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. We will not retain your personal data longer than necessary to fulfill the for which we are processing such data.
